Owner-operated
I am Anthony. This is my business.
Kingdom Custom Co is one person out of Carrollton, Georgia. I quote the job, I show up and do the job, and I answer the phone when you call about it. There is nobody to be transferred to.
Where this came from
I started Kingdom Custom Co because I would rather work for myself and do the job properly than work for somebody who is measuring how many yards I can get through in a day.
That sounds like a line, but it changes real things about how the work gets done. When you are paid to move fast, edging is the first thing to go, then blowing off the drive, then anything that requires walking back to the truck for a different tool. Those are exactly the things that make the difference between a yard that has been mowed and a yard that has been looked after.
Why it is called Kingdom
I am a Christian. That is where the name comes from, and I would rather tell you up front than have you wonder.
I am not going to preach at you and it has no bearing on whether I will work for you — I will work for anybody in Carrollton who needs their yard handled. But it does decide how I run this thing, so it is fair that you know what it means in practice.
- I show up when I said I would. If I am running late or the weather moves me, you get a call before the time I told you — not after it.
- The price I quote is the price you pay. It does not grow once I am on the property and you are committed.
- If I break something, I tell you. Before you find it. That has cost me money and it will again.
- If I find something that is not my job, I still tell you. Rotten fascia behind a gutter, a downspout dumping against your foundation — you hear about it whether or not there is work in it for me.
- If you are not happy with it, I come back. I would rather fix a cut for free than have my name on a yard I am embarrassed by.
None of that is remarkable. It is just doing what you said you would do, which is apparently rare enough in this trade that it counts as a selling point.
What I run
A Scag ride XL stand-on zero-turn. It is a commercial stand-on rather than a homeowner rider — you stand on the back of it rather than sitting. It is fast on open ground and it turns tight around trees, beds and obstacles without scuffing the turf the way a clumsy three-point turn does, which matters on the cut-up older lots I do a lot of work on.
Plus the trimming, edging and blowing kit that makes up the other half of every visit.
Being honest about where the business is
This is a new business. I keep a small book of recurring customers and I am actively taking on more — which is exactly why you will not find a review count, a years-in-business badge or a wall of testimonials anywhere on this site.
I could have put them there. Plenty of sites do, and nobody checks. I would rather you called me knowing precisely what you are getting: a new outfit run by one person who is trying to build something on doing the work right, at a point where every single customer matters more than they will in five years.
The reviews section on this site is built and sitting empty. It fills up when real customers write real ones.
Why I do the whole outside, not just the grass
Most outfits around Carrollton are landscapers. Grass, beds, mulch — and when your gutters are packed or your windows have a year of pollen on them, that is someone else's phone call.
I never understood that. It is one house, one trip, and usually one cause: the same oaks that buried the lawn filled the gutters, and the water coming over the front of a blocked gutter is what streaked the windows and washed the mulch out of the bed underneath. So I dothe lawn care, the gutters andthe exterior cleaning, and you get one afternoon at home instead of three.
How working with me goes
- 01
You call
Me on the other end, not a receptionist. Tell me where you are and what the property needs.
- 02
I look at it
I would rather see a yard than guess at it. Quoting sight-unseen produces a number I would only have to change.
- 03
You get a price
For the actual job in front of us. No packages you do not need bolted onto it.
- 04
I do the work
Me, personally. If something is wrong or I find a problem up there, you hear it from me directly.
Reviews
There are none here yet, and there are none here because there are none yet — not because they are hidden.
Kingdom Custom Co is new. When customers leave real reviews, they will go in this space with their names on them. Nothing invented will ever appear here.
(678) 421-8783About the business
Who actually does the work?
Anthony Phillips. Kingdom Custom Co is owner-operated — there is no crew and no employees, so the person who quotes the job is the person who shows up and does it.
How long has Kingdom Custom Co been running?
It is a new business, still building its customer base. Anthony currently keeps a small book of recurring customers and is actively taking on more.
There is no years-in-business claim on this site because there is not one worth making yet. That will change on its own.
What equipment do you use?
A Scag ride XL stand-on zero-turn mower, plus the trimming, edging and blowing equipment that goes with it.
The Scag is a commercial stand-on rather than a homeowner rider. It is quick across open ground and turns tightly around trees and beds without tearing the turf.
Do you have reviews?
Not yet. Kingdom Custom Co is new and has not collected reviews, and none are shown on this site because inventing them would be dishonest.
Want me to look at your place?
Call and tell me what you have got. If it is not something I do, I will say so and point you at somebody who does.
