How the job is done

Christmas light installation that looks like it was measured.

Most houses look decorated. A few look finished. The difference is almost never the bulbs — it is whether the run was cut to the roof, whether the spacing holds the whole length, and whether the wire sags between the clips.

Cut to your house

The strand is measured and cut to your roofline, not pulled off a shelf in a fixed length. That is why the runs end where the roof ends instead of doubling back or leaving a dark gap at the corner.

Clipped, never stapled

Every bulb sits in a clip that hooks under the shingle edge or on the gutter lip. Nothing gets stapled or nailed into your fascia, so there are no holes left behind in January.

Professional-grade bulbs

C9 bulbs on commercial-grade wire, not the box-store strand that dies in the third week and takes the rest of the run down with it.

Who turns up

One person quotes it, hangs it and comes back for it.

There is no crew and no subcontractor. The person who looks at your roof is the person standing on it in November and the person taking the clips off in January. If a run goes dark in the middle of December, you call the same number and I come back out to it.

Where I hang them

Carroll County and out toward Douglasville.

Questions people ask

Who installs Christmas lights in Carrollton, GA?

Kingdom Custom Co installs Christmas lights in Carrollton, Georgia. It is owner-operated by AJ Phillips — call (678) 421-8783.

Rooflines, gables, porch columns, wrapped trees and shrubs, in warm white, red and green, or multicolour.

Do you take the lights back down?

Yes. Takedown is part of the job, not a separate booking. The clips come off with the lights.

Will the clips damage my roof or gutters?

No. Every bulb sits in a clip that hooks under the shingle edge or over the gutter lip. Nothing is stapled or nailed into the fascia, so nothing is left behind in January.

Can I use my own lights?

Ask. AJ hangs professional-grade C9 bulbs on commercial wire cut to your roofline, which is what makes a run look even — but if you already own a set, describe it on the phone.

What areas do you cover?

Carrollton, Villa Rica, Bremen, Temple, Bowdon, Whitesburg, Mount Zion, Roopville and out toward Douglasville — roughly a 30 mile radius of Carrollton.

How much does it cost?

There is no published price list, because a quote given without seeing the house would be a quote that has to change. Cost depends on the length of the roofline, how many storeys, the pitch, and how much of the property you want lit.

Call and describe the house, or ask AJ to come and look at it.

When should I book?

Earlier than you think. Installs run from late October, and the calendar tightens through November because everybody wants their lights on the same weekend.

Is there an office I can visit?

No. This is a service-area business — AJ travels to the customer, so no street address is published.

Tell me what house you want lit.

Quickest way to get an answer is to call. If it is after hours or you would rather write it out, send the form and I will get back to you.
